Since I only brought my tiny 11″ MacBook on vacation, I decided not to update my Google Sheet during the trip. I knew it would cost me when we got home.
And cost me it did.
When I finally sat down to add and remove all the transactions, I quickly discovered that my husband had made quite a few small deals prior to our trip — without mentioning a single one to me.
Because there were also some larger acquisitions he had told me about, I couldn’t simply scroll backwards. I had to go through every single holding manually and reconcile the number of shares in the account with my sheet.
It took me four hours.
The world’s (currently not) most perfect husband is now officially on my naughty list.
