2026 Economic Calendar

14 October, 14:30 Swedish time. US CPI for September. That is the print that can move yields before the Fed speaks. FOMC is 28 October, statement at 19:00 Swedish time. No projections at that meeting. Payrolls for October are 6 November, 14:30.

Swedish flash CPI for September was 7 October, 08:00. The final print follows later in the month. I do not keep a guessed SCB list. The flash date above is the one SCB has posted.

What this page is

This is the 2026 calendar I actually keep open. Not every print on the planet. The dates that tend to shove stocks, yields, and the dollar around: US payrolls, US CPI, the Fed, the ECB, the Riksbank, and Swedish inflation. Times are Swedish. CET until 29 March, CEST from 29 March to 25 October, CET again after that. If a number is missing, it is because I do not trade off it.

Schedules move. The January jobs report was due on 6 February and came out on 11 February, after the funding lapse. Check the source if a date looks too neat.

1. United States – Employment Situation

BLS, 08:30 US Eastern. Usually 14:30 Swedish time. The January report is the one that did not keep its first date.

2. United States – CPI

BLS, 08:30 US Eastern. This is the inflation print that actually hits the bond market. The Fed prefers PCE. The market still jumps at this one.

3. Federal Reserve – FOMC

Statement at 14:00 US Eastern. Press conference after. Projections in March, June, September and December. Those four move more.

The meeting is the day before. The market cares about 09:30, when the decision is published. Eight a year. The old list started in May and skipped two.

6. Sweden – inflation

SCB publishes a flash estimate, Snabb-KPI, about five working days before the final KPI and KPIF. Both at 08:00. The Riksbank looks at KPIF, not the headline.
